Mayhem Film Festival originally started as a single collection of short films before growing into the four-day weekend it is now, and so its Short Film Showcase remains at the heart of the festival with its traditional Saturday slot, and one of the most popular and beloved events of the programme each year.

"This year we have something for everybody: from scary short shockers, to thought provoking science fiction, from the genuinely creepy, to the full-on gory, all from some of the most promising new directors out there around the world... and closer to home." - Chris Cooke, Mayhem Film Festival Co-Director.

Mayhem's full line-up was revealed last week and individual tickets, day passes and full festival passes will go on sale at 10AM on Tuesday 12 September.

Mayhem Film Festival takes place on 12-15 October 2017 at Broadway, Nottingham.
