Past editions have included UK Premieres of titles such as Lee Won-tae’s The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil, Steven Kostanski’s PG:Psycho Goreman, Pete Ohs’ Jethica, Bertrand Mandico’s She Is Conann, John Minton’s Game, Yuriyan Retriever’s Mag Mag, and Kier-La Janisse’s The Occupant of the Room. We also hosted the European Premiere of Human Centipede 3 with cast and crew in attendance.

Mayhem has hosted screenings of Daughter of Horror/Dementia, Kuroneko, and Tod Browning’s The Unknown with original live scores, as well as a very special screening of Don’t Look Now with director Nicolas Roeg in St Mary’s Church in Nottingham. The team has also produced live stage readings of unmade Hammer scripts The Unquenchable Thirst of Dracula and Zeppelin vs. Pterodactyls.

The festival has welcomed many guests over the years, including (but not limited to) Kier-La Janisse, Ben Wheatley, Marc Price, John Minton, Mark Gatiss, Gareth Edwards, Robin Hardy, Aislinn Clarke, Nicolas Roeg, Astron-6, Brian Netto, Jennifer Handorf, and many, many more.
